ORDINANCE NO. 5810 -75 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF <br />$300,000 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER <br />SINKING AND BUILDING FUND, TO PROJECT <br />CS -7, OLIVE STREET SANITARY SEWER TRUNK <br />RECONSTRUCTION, WITHIN SAID FUND. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that said section <br />of sewer is in dire need of repair; and <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend earlier appropriated funds for the investigation and <br />preparation of sewer reconstruction plans; and <br />WHEREAS, Murphy Consultants, Inc. has now com- <br />pleted these plans; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are now needed to proceed with the <br />construction of said repairs, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $300,000.00 be appro- <br />priated from the Cumulative Sewer Sinking and Building Fund as <br />set forth below: <br />Fund Project Description Amount <br />52 CS -7 Olive Street Sanitary Sewer $300,000.00 <br />Trunk Reconstruction <br />SECTION II. That this ordinance shall be in full <br />force and effec�rom and after its passage by the Common <br />Council, approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all <br />statutory requirements for emergency appropriations. <br />Me 7 the Common Council <br />Passed March 10, 1975, as amended. <br />
