REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22.2013 321 AWARD QUOTATION — CROOKED EWE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO 113 -041 (AEDA TIF) Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, advised the Board that on October 17, 2013, quotations were received and opened for the above referenced project. All of the quotations were found to be over the approved budget. After speaking with the Redevelopment Commission Board Members, Mr. Dave Relos stated they would approve an increase of $15,000.00 in the budget on this project at their next meeting to fund the project. After reviewing the quotations, Mr. Villa recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Ortiz Concrete, 530 Pulaski Street, South Bend, Indiana 46619, in the amount of $41,354.00. Therefore, Ms. Roos made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above, subject to the Redevelopment Commission approving additional funding. Mr. Mecham seconded the motion, which carried.
