ORDINANCE NO.,ry 7 -7 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $ 17, 000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Human Resources to administer certain public works programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. The sum of 17, 000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year T9 7 7 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Human Resources through its Bureau of Employment & Training and will be distributed as set forth below: TOTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION 17, 000.00 SECTION II.
