The position of Crossing Guard III was erroneously left <br />out of the Salary Ordinance but does show in the budget. The other <br />Crossing Guards and the Police Cadets had the salary increase <br />adopted by the Common Council built on the wrong base, and con- <br />sequently some of them got a very small raise and some of them none <br />at all. The only means of correcting this inequity is to add the positions <br />in the proposed amendment to the present Salary Ordinance. <br />Walter F. antz <br />Chief Deputy Controller <br />
