ORDINANCE NO. .S'47I -7 jo <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 45855 -75 <br />FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF APPOINTED <br />OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE YEAR 1976. <br />WHEREAS, certain amendments to this ordinance would be in the <br />best interest of the City of South Bend by correcting some inadequacies of <br />the present ordinance. <br />AND, WHEREAS, certain classifications are not listed in the ordin- <br />ance. <br />AND, WHEREAS, the corrections requested can be funded from <br />budgeted funds within the certain budget item. <br />AND WHEREAS, this correction would make it possible for certain <br />crossing guards and cadets within the Bureau of Police budget to obtain <br />relief from a cut in pay. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana; <br />SECTION I That from and after the 1st day of May, 1976 the <br />classification for the following appointed officers and employees of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1976, shall be added to the 1976 <br />salary ordinance. <br />Position Minimum Maximum <br />Crossing Guard 2,950.00 3,100.00 <br />Police Cadet II 3,661.00 3,800.00 <br />SECTION II This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />1st READING— ��'7�O <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />2nd READING <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />w14/�.t -/ <br />Membe of the Common Council <br />FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br />APR 7 '970 <br />Irene Gammon <br />CM 4 MrO PEW gyp, <br />
