ORDINANCE NO. 5948 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,700 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, <br />FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS, TO <br />BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department <br />of Public Works to administer certain Public Works programs and <br />to ensure the Department's ability to properly perform its func- <br />tions during the year of 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $1,700.00 is hereby ap- <br />propriated for the year of 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant <br />Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. <br />This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public <br />Works and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA96- Riverbend Plaza Office Rent & Remodeling <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />Contractual <br />Services 260.0 Other Contractuals $1,700.00 <br />Total Contractuals $1,700.00 <br />Total FA 96 $1,700.00 <br />SECTION II.
