ORDINANCE NO. S 01 4 `r --7 e- <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING 518,000 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, <br />FOR VARIOUS CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAMS <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF LAW. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Law to enforce the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend <br />with regard to public safety, environmental protection, the <br />public health and welfare, and zoning. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $18,000.00 is hereby appro- <br />priated for the year of 1976 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing <br />Funds.
