CITY OF SOUTH BEND
South Bend, Indiana 46601
Jerry J. Miller
Mayor
James V. Barcome
Director, Administration and Finance
Common Council
City of South Bend, Indiana
Reply To:
Richard Hunt
Deputy Controller
12/10/75
Dear Sirs:
At the request of John L. Everitt, Director of the Civic
Center Authority the Controller's Department has submitted an,
ordinance.for your consideration which effects certain transfers
within the Authority's budget.
The transfer to the promotional expense account is necessary
to complete the promotional campaign begun earlier this year.
The additional monies are required to cover the brochure
Preparation and printing for convention sales.
The transfer to the Rents account is to cover additional
expenses incurred in the leasing of the Authority's offices,
and the office equipment such as the copying machine.
Due to the lateness in this budget year we respectfully
request that the Council suspend its rules and take final action
on this ordinance in their upcoming meeting of 12/15/75. As
you are aware, a transfer ordinance does not require advertising
or State Tax Board approval.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Sincerely yours,
Richard Hunt, Deputy
Controller
