ORDINANCE NO. (oQ 7 7(c AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $28,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR REPAIRS AND RENOVATION OF A PORTION OF THE RETAINING WALL ALONG THE ST. JOSEPH RIVER TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, the retaining wall along the east side of the St. Joseph River, from Colfax Avenue up River to the South Bend Dam, is in a state of serious disrepair and needs corrective action. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $28,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1976 from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Works and will be distri- buted as set forth below: ACCOUNT AMOUNT Other Contractuals 260.0 $28,000.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements.
