ORDINANCE NO. 6046 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $41,864.28 <br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING <br />FUND TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND. <br />WHEREAS, the Crest Manor and Homeland Sanitary Sewers have <br />been constructed pursuant to Barrett Law resolutions filed with <br />the Board of Public Works, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend was assessed as follows in <br />Section II for its 50% share of the project costs, and <br />WHEREAS, funds are now needed to pay thecity's share of <br />the assessed cost of said construction; and <br />WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has <br />been established. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $41,864.28 be appropriated from <br />the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund <br />for the projects and in the amounts as set forth <br />below: <br />Crest Manor Sanitary Sewer $17,234.18 <br />Homeland Sanitary Sewer 24,630.10 <br />Total Assessment 41,864.28 <br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council <br />approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all <br />statutory requirements. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Passed, as amended, September 27, 1976 <br />
