ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40,000 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR NON- PROFIT HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS BUREAU OF HOUSING. WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to execute certain community development project activities to preserve and rehabilitate the existing City's housing stock. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: Section I. The sum of $40,000 is hereby appropriated for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is to be administered by the Bureau of Housing. PROGRAM CD - 76 - 103 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PURPOSE AMOUNT Non - Profit Group Housing $40,000 Rehabilitation Program Section II.
