ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,600 FROM FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS VEHICLE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Works Bureau of Vehicle Maintenance to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its function during the year of 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. That the sum of $5,600 is hereby appropriated for the year of 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Vehicle Maintenance, and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA -107 BUREAU OF VEHICLE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT No. 726, Other Equipment Vehicle Maintenance Equipment $5,600 TOTAL FA -107 $5,600 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
