REGULAR MEETING Bend as follows: OCTOBER 8, 2013 303 1. The 5,208 water meters described above are no longer needed by the City, are unfit for the purpose for which they were intended and should be disposed of in a manner that is in the best interests of the City. 2. It is in the best interests of the City to dispose of the water meters for scrap metal value at an estimated $0.95 per pound as determined by Acme Scrap based on the U.S. scrap metal pricing which is subject to change daily. 3. The Water Works Department is hereby authorized to dispose of the water meters for scrap metal value with the proceeds of such exchange to be recorded in Water Work's Miscellaneous Revenue account.
