ORDINANCE NO. 5988 -76 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />5437 -72, COMMONLY KNOWN AS CHAPTER 16, <br />ARTICLE 2, SECTION 16 -6 "GARBAGE AND <br />TRASH COLLECTION: CITY FEES, MANNER OF <br />COLLECTION: PRIVATE PARTY RESPONSIBILITY" <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA <br />Be it Ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That Chapter 16, Article 2, Section 16 -6, <br />Sub - section C, (1) & (2) are hereby amended to read as follows; <br />1. One family dwelling with no limit on number of <br />bags and bundles: Three dollars and Fifty cents <br />($3.50) per month. <br />2. One family dwelling where the head of the household <br />has submitted to the Board of Public Works proof of <br />age sixty -five (65) or over: Two dollars ($2.00) per <br />month. <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the <br />Mayor, and fulfillment of all statutory requirements. <br />Passed, as amended, June 7, 1976 <br />
