This money is <br />matched by an appropriation of $4,300 from the Cumulative Capital <br />Improvement Fund for a total of $43,000. <br />Public bids have been advertised, accepted, and a contract for the <br />project awarded to Rieth -Riley Construction Company in the amount <br />of $31,558.25. Total right -of -way acquisition costs have been <br />incurred in the amount of $16,643.46, including a condemnation <br />amount of $12,500. The additional amount requested herein is <br />necessary to provide sufficient funds for the right -of -way acquisi- <br />tion and construction of this project. <br />The Engineer's estimate on this project appears to have been reason- <br />ably accurate, but the amount of the condemnation award exceeded our <br />estimate. <br />Very �truly yours, <br />Rollin E.
