Stancati, Director of Utilities <br />TO: <br />MEMBERS OF <br />THE <br />COMMON <br />COUNCIL <br />SUBJECT: <br />Ordinance <br />for <br />Purchase <br />of Water Meters <br />(219) 284 -9322 <br />The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common <br />Council which will approve one Contract for the purchase of 6,000 5/8 -inch <br />water meters. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana <br />and were found competitive. The Contract was awarded to Badger Meter, Inc. <br />of Milwaukee, Wisconsin by the Board of Water Works Commissioners on the 4th <br />day of January, 1977, as being the lowest and best bid.
