S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development <br />I am submitting the attached, proposed ordinance to you for the Council's <br />approval. The requested $16,000 in Community Development funds represents the <br />city's share of the cash match required for our third -year program, January - <br />December, 1977. <br />The full $16,000 will be applied toward program administration (as opposed <br />to research activities) and, in particular, toward my salary, i.e., Director ... <br />$16,000. Such an allocation of the match will insure that the city has met <br />its share of the third -year matching obligations by the date of the subcontract's <br />termination, December 31, 1977. <br />I will be present at the Council meeting when the ordinance is brought up <br />for its second reading.
