ORDINANCE NO. 6 t I o --2 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $16,000 FROM <br />THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR RESEARCH <br />ADMINISTRATION, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS URBAN <br />OBSERVATORY PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in <br />the name of the City of South Bend has received the approval <br />of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment (HUD) to execute certain activities to improve the city's <br />planning and management capabilities, said Community Develop- <br />ment funds are necessary as payment of the city's nonfederal <br />share to the South Bend Urban Observatory. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />Section I. That the sum of $16,000 is hereby <br />appropriated for the South Bend Urban Observatory's program <br />year from January 1 to December 31, 1977, from the Community <br />Development Fund. This appropriation is to be administered <br />by the South Bend Urban Observatory and will be distributed <br />as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 1001 <br />SOUTH BEND URBAN OBSERVATORY <br />PURPOSE AMOUNT <br />Local Share (1977) $16,000 <br />SECTION II.
