South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting Thursday, September 26, 2013 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />E. South Side Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />amendment to the existing agreement with Christopher B. Burke Engineering (CBBE). <br />Under the terms of the amendment, CBBE will coordinate bid documents for the Fellows <br />Street project. To simplify the bidding, contracting, and construction processes, the City's <br />Department of Public Works recommended that the intersection improvements designed by <br />CBBE be bid together with the drainage improvements designed by Cardno JFNew. <br />The second proposal is a $7,380 scope of services change with Cardno JFNew which allows <br />them to complete drainage design work according to changes requested by the Department of <br />Public Works to meet project goals fully and simplify project construction. <br />Staff requests approval of Resolution No. 3171 and Amendment to the Addendum to the <br />Master Agency Agreement (Fellows Street Corridor Improvement Project— Supplement #7), <br />including the $12,380 budget. <br />Mr. Varner asked if the project will start this fall or spring 2014. Mr. Divita responded that <br />this will be a spring project. <br />Ms. Jones asked if the changes will be in the general budget. Mr. Divita responded that it is. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Inks and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3171 approving and authorizing of an Amendment to <br />the Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement (Fellow Street Corridor Improvement <br />Project — Supplement #7) <br />F. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />There was no business in the Northeast Neighborhood Development Area. <br />G. Douglas Road Development Area <br />There was no business in the Douglas Road Development Area. <br />H. Other <br />(1) Filing of Resolution No. 3172 determining to appropriate monies for the purpose of <br />paying for certain expenses by the Redevelopment Commission including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, fixing a time when the same shall take effect and <br />setting a public hearing for 9:30 a.m., October 24, 2013. (Redevelopment General Fund) <br />
