COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Relos introduced the new Director of Economic Resources Mr. Brock Zeeb. Mr. Zeeb was <br />previously employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a field investigator. He has a Master of <br />Business Administration from Bethel College. <br />A. Public Hearings <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 3174 amending the Development Plan of the South <br />Bend, Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Relos noted that the public hearing file is complete, including: (1) A copy of the <br />Resolution No. 3174 setting the public hearing; (2) a copy of the Notice of Hearing; (3) an <br />affidavit from Kim Wilson, Publisher of the South Bend Tribune, that the Notice of Hearing <br />was published in that newspaper on September 14, 2013; (4) and an affidavit from Jason <br />Jolly, Classified Manager of the Tri- County News, that the Notice of Hearing was published <br />in that newspaper on September 13, 2013. <br />Mr. Relos noted that Indiana Code requires that we notify interested neighborhood groups <br />and associations of the public hearing. This was not completed in time for <br />
