YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU: FUNDING (CONTINUED) <br />9. Penn State & <br />We have received stipends from these two <br />St. Mary's <br />schools for supervising their student in- <br />College <br />terns. The stipends are small ($30.00 to <br />$50.00). <br />10. Department of <br />D.P.W. has certified our Shelter Home for a <br />Public Welfare <br />$6.00 per diem. We anticipate $1,000 for <br />1976 and $4,000 for 1977. <br />11. PSE /CETA of <br />We have had five employees whose salary was <br />South Bend <br />paid for by the Public Employment Title of <br />CETA . Four of these were transitioned to our <br />regular payroll when their CETA contract ex- <br />pired. We are expecting to hire the fifth <br />one in 1977. One PSE position for a profess- <br />ional caseworker is worth approximately $10,000 <br />to YSB. <br />12. PSE /CETA of <br />At the suggestion of Councilman Kopczynski, <br />St. Joseph <br />we have pursued many avenues of funding through <br />County <br />County Government. Our first breakthrough oc- <br />cured when they provided us with a secretarial <br />position through their Public Employment Title. <br />This position is intact at this time. This <br />secretarial position is worth approximately <br />$8,000 to YSB. <br />13. U.S. Dept. of We have been able to obtain surplus commodities <br />Agriculture at an extremely reduced price and a rebate on <br />milk given to youth in our Summer Program. This <br />subsidy was worth about $150 this year. <br />
