Column 1 <br />This column lists the various chemical costs as budgeted for 1976. <br />Column 2 <br />This column lists the various chemical costs as estimated in 1971 by <br />the Plant design engineers. <br />Column 3 <br />This column lists the various chemical costs as requested for the 1977 <br />budget. This is based upon our ability to successfully make the transition <br />from the lime method to the ferric chloride. <br />Column 4 <br />This column lists the various chemical costs which would result if the Plant <br />were to be operated, as designed using the lime method, at the present <br />inflated costs. We would like to point out that our first shipment of lime <br />received in January of 1975 was priced at $21.40 per ton with cartage at 7.48 or <br />or $28.88 delivered. On May 15, 1976 the price will advance to $34.30 per <br />ton with cartage at 7.85 or $42.15 delivered.
