ORDINANCE NO. (Q0 1kC1--)6 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1750.00 FROM ACCOUNT 724.0 <br />"RADIO EQUIPMENT TO ACCOUNT 440.0 "OTHER MATERIALS" <br />BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing budget for the Police Department, <br />so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was <br />appropriated in the original budget for the various functions <br />of city government to meet such extraordinary conditons; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for certain accounts <br />within the Police Dept. budget to assure that department's ability <br />to properly perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, funds exist in various accounts of the Police Dent. <br />which are not presently needed; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $1750.00 be transfered between <br />various accounts as set forth below: <br />REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT: <br />Account# Description Amount <br />724.0 Radio Equipment 1750.00 <br />INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT: <br />Account #, Description Amount <br />440.0 Other Materials 1750.00 <br />SECTION II.
