ORDINANCE NO. {rciS- i <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR THE PROVISION <br />OF SOCIAL SERVICES (UNITED WAY - DAY CARE), TO <br />BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the name <br />of the City of South Bend has received the approval of the United <br />State Department of Housing and Urban Development to execute <br />certain Community Development project activities to provide Day <br />Care services to low- and moderate - income residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend that: <br />Section I. The sum of $30,000 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation <br />is to be administered jointly by the Department of Human Resources <br />and the United Way of St. Joseph County. <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 703 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE AMOUNT <br />Provision of <br />Social Services <br />(United Way - Day Care) $30,000 <br />Section II.
