ORDINANCE NO. 6072 -76 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $44,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY RE- FERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR ESTABLISHING THE PERMANENT ENVIRONMENTAL WORK CREW, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH THE BUREAU OF STREETS. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Bureau of Streets to insure this Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I: That the sum of $44,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1976 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund.
