ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $17,500 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR PROVISION OF <br />SOCIAL SERVICES (LEGAL AID), TO BE ADMINISTERED <br />BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF HUMAN RESOURCES. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the <br />name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />to execute certain community development project activities to <br />provide legal services to low and moderate income residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $17,500 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend <br />Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is <br />to be administered jointly by the Department of Human Resources and <br />the.Legal Aid Society of St. Joseph County, Inc. <br />PROGRAM CD - 76 - 702 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE AMOUNT <br />Provision of <br />Social Services $17,500 <br />(Legal Aid) <br />Section II.
