ORDINANCE NO. �,gL <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BUREAU <br />OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND <br />MICHIANA FENCE, INC., SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE AT THE SOUTH BEND BUREAU OF <br />WATER WORKS` NORTH PUMPING STATION IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT <br />OF $2,945.00. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />To approve a Contract for the construction of a fence to be located in <br />the rear of the South Bend Water Works' North Pumping Station at 830 North <br />Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the Contract entered into between the Bureau of Water <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and Michiana Fence, Inc., South Bend, <br />Indiana, on the 1st day of August, 1977, pursuant to receipt of quotations, <br />as the purchase of same is required to prevent vandalism at the Water Works' <br />North Pumping Station, in a total quantity and a total cost not to exceed <br />$2,945.00. <br />SECTION II.
