South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — Thursday, September 12, 2013 3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Ms. Schey and unanimously carried, the Commission approved and ratified the Claims submitted Thursday, September 12, 2013. 4. COMMUNICATIONS There were no Communications. 5. OLD BUSINESS There was no Old Business. 6. NEW BUSINESS A. Receipt of Bids (1) Receipt of Bids for 112 S. St. Louis St. in the South Bend Central Development Area. Mr. Relos noted that the DCI staff has advertised to receive Bids for 112 S. St. Louis and have not received any. The item does not require any action. After a 30 day waiting period, the City of South Bend may enter into negotiations for the property. Mr. Varner asked if there is anyone interested in this property. Mr. Relos responded that property owners north of this property have indicated some interest in it. Ms. Schey asked if this property is located by the Unitarian Church. Mr. Relos responded that it is not. This small residential vacant lot is just northeast of Bamaby's. (2) Receipt of Bids for 228 Sycamore in the South Bend Central Development Area. Mr. Relos noted that the DCI staff has advertised for Receipt of Bids for 228 Sycamore and have not received any. The item does not require any action. After a 30 day waiting period, the City of South Bend may enter into negotiations for the property. Mr. Vamer asked if there is any interest in this property. Mr. Relos responded that there is. (3) Receipt of Bids for 331410 W. Wayne St. in the South Bend Central Development Area. Mr. Relos noted that the DCI staff has advertised for Receipt of Bids for 331 -410 W. Wayne St. and have not received any. The item does not require any action. After a 30 day waiting period, the City of South Bend may enter into negotiations for the property.
