South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — Thursday, September 12, 2013 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) H. Other (2) continued... The West Side Corridors Master Plan will provide a market -based strategic revitalization plan for Lincolnway West and Western Avenue. Consultant proposals for plan development are due September 13, 2013. Staff requests approval of the plan development agreement with the UEA for the West Side Corridors Master Plan. Mr. Inks asked for the estimate of the range for the total cost of the plan. Mr. Divita responded that he expects the lower costs would in the $150,000 range and go up from there depending on the amount of services. Mr. Divita noted that the master plan cost will be split between the UEA and Commission based on the percentage of the corridor that is in a TIF area. Ms. Jones asked if the project was entirely contained in an Urban Enterprise Zone. Mr. Divita responded that it is not, however the UEA has the ability to spend its funds outside the area if a project benefits the UEA area. Ms. Schey asked with the corridor revitalization funds, do you know where we are in the work to expand the AEDA TIF to include Lincolnway West. Mr. Ford responded that it is about ready to go. Upon a motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the Agreement for Plan Development Funding with the Urban Enterprise Association of South Bend, Inc. (West Side Corridors Master Plan) 7. PROGRESS REPORTS There were no Progress Reports 8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING The Next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Commission is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. 9. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Commission, Ms. Schey made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Varner seconded.
