ORDINANCE NO. (a <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />BUREAU OF WASTEWATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AND CARL J. REINKE & SONS, INC., SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A GARAGE AND <br />COMBINED MECHANICAL WORK TO INCLUDE ELECTRICAL, <br />HEATING AND VENTILATION AT THE WASTEWATER TREAT- <br />MENT PLANT IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $24,984.00. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />To approve a Contract for general construction of a new garage by <br />erecting a pre- engineered metal building addition to an existing garage <br />structure and combined mechanical work to include electrical, heating <br />and ventilation at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the Contract entered into between the Bureau of <br />Wastewater of South Bend, Indiana, and Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc., South <br />Bend, Indiana, on the 3rd day of October, 1977, for the construction of a <br />garage and combined mechanical work to include electrical, heating and <br />ventilation at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, pursuant to advertising and <br />receipt of bids as the purchase of same is required in the operation of <br />the Bureau of Wastewater, for a total cost not to exceed $24,984.00, is <br />hereby approved and confirmed. <br />SECTION II.
