BILL NO. ORDINANCE NO.�LK7- 7 7 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $200,000.00 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANT FUND TO R AND S 60, ORANGE STREET /COLFAX STREET CONNECTOR, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In that certain conditions exist which require the expenditure of funds for the purpose of constructing the Orange Street /Colfax Street Connector, and in that funds are now needed to pay a portion of the costs of the construction of these improvements, and in that these funds are available from the Community Development Grant Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $200,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the program year starting July 7, 1977, from the City of South Bend's Community Development Block Grant Fund (Program Year 1977). The appropriation is to be administered by the Division of Com- munity Development and the Department of Public Works and will be administered as set forth below: PROGRAM - CD - 77 - 604 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ORANGE STREET /COLFAX STREET CONNECTOR PROJECT NO. LOCATION AMOUNT R & S 60 Orange Street /Colfax Street Connector $200,000.00 TOTAL APPROPRIATION $200,000.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
