Stancati, Director of Utilities <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />SUBJECT: Ordinance for the Purchase of Motor Vehicles <br />(219) 284 -9322 <br />The Bureau of hater is presenting an Ordinance to the Common Council <br />which will approve one Contract for the purchase of motor vehicles. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana and <br />were found competitive. The Contract was awarded to (1) Gates Chevrolet Corp., <br />South Bend, Indiana and (2) Shamrock Ford Truck Sales, Inc., South Bend, Indiana, <br />by the Board of Dater storks Commissioners on the 20th day of February, 1978, and <br />the 6th day of March, 1978, respectively, as being the lowest and best bids. <br />Total net amount of this purchase is $47,945.30. <br />John F.
