Hunt <br />Deputy Director <br />M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />FROM CARL ELLISON, DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />SUBJECT: APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT <br />R -66 <br />DATE DECEMBER 13, 1977 <br />219/284 -9335 <br />The Division of Community Development wishes to present for your consi- <br />deration the attached bill appropriating $100,000.00 for miscellaneous project <br />costs associated with the continuation of Urban Renewal Project R -66. <br />The $100,000.00 appropriation consists of the following categories: <br />(1) DISPOSITION COSTS ($60,000): Under this category, <br />the Department of Redevelopment will incur costs <br />associated with the disposition of real property <br />within the project area. These costs could include: <br />updates of re -use appraisals; revisions /updates of <br />disposition related studies, i.e., parking, circula- <br />tion studies, etc.; and, title searches, recording <br />fees, and abstract costs. <br />(2) PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS COSTS ($25,000): The Department <br />of Redevelopment, under the HUD approved Project R -66 <br />Plan, has undertaken various site and facility improve- <br />ments. Additional work must be completed on service <br />and access drives, sidewalks, and curbs. <br />
