ORDINANCE NO. L ' j- ') <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $22,185.00 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND FOR <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION COSTS TO <br />BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE DIVISION OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />The City of South Bend is committed to the improvement <br />of the "quality of life" in the City and its neighborhoods. As <br />part of this commitment, the City has established a comprehensive <br />community development program. In order to further provide for <br />efficient and effective utilization of CDBG funds through planning, <br />program development, and management, additional funds are required <br />by the Division of Community Development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $22,185.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the program year starting July 7, 1977 from the Community <br />Development Block Grant Fund (Program Year 1977). This appropriation <br />is to be administered by the Division of Community Development, <br />and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM CD -77 -1101 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />PURPOSE <br />Community Development Personnel Costs $ 21,485.00 <br />Community Development Non - Personnel Costs 700.00 <br />TOTAL <br />$ 22,185.00 <br />SECTION II.
