REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 14, 1957 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, Monday, January 14, 1957, with all members present except Councilman Hahn. President Stanley Korpal called the meeting, to order and presided. The meeting was called to order at 8:56 P.M. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Councilmen Korpal, Carr, Tellson, Christman, Kroll, Glass, Erler and Muszynski. ABSENT: Councilman Hahn. REPORT OF THE-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES: To the Common ..Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. CARR Committee STANLEY KORPAL Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION Petition of Nellie E. Kelsey to rezone the following described real estate from A- Residential and A- Height and Area to C- Commercial and D- Height and Area: Lots Numbered One(1), Two (2) and Three (3), Logan Heights Proposed Addition to the City of South Bend, described as beginning at the intersection of the West Line of Logan Street at the South line of Jefferson Boulevard thence West one hundred thirty -four (134) feet; thence South one Hundred fifty (150) feet; thence East one hundred thirty -three and sixty -eight hundredths (133.68) feet; thence North one hundred fifty (150) feet -to the place of beginning. Councilman Kroll d-ade a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Carr second- ed the motion. Motion carried.
