<br />OLD BUSINESS:
<br />Don illes, President of the Youth Council reported on their activities. He Stat -ed that the 'Constitution was passed
<br />on September 18, 1956. He also reported on the dance give:_, by the Youth Council on September 15, 1956, Pt Play-
<br />land Park. There were between 1600 and 1800 teen -agers at the dance. He also outlined t''leir plans for future
<br />activities. He thanked Councilmen Carr and Kroll for their help in obtaining cokes and printing signs for the dance.
<br />Councilman Kroll thanked the Committee from the Council for thP_ir spend id cooperation with t';e. Youth Council_.

<br />Councilman Kroll asked that a. report be given by the Traffic Engineer on his findings in his survey of Bertrand and
<br />Olive Streets.
<br />Councilman ' C'.nristman asked that the Traffic engine °r repot on. his action i_n the matter o` a 4 -w: stop at Elwood
<br />and Huey and also the Yield sign to be placed on Elwood.
<br />Councilman ^a_r.r asked that the Traffic Engineer study traffic at Western. Avenue and Franklin Streets relative to
<br />installation of a traffic light.
<br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman. Hahn made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Tellson
<br />seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Council Meeting adjourned at 9:39 P.M., C.D.S.T., (8:39 P.M., C.S.T.)
