RTC PORT OF COrZ ITTEE ON MINUTES: To t1ne Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting o` the Council and found them correct. COMM1MI I CAT I ON A communication from the South Bend Civi¢ Planning Association was read by the Clerk relative to the Creation of the Soutr. Bend Redevelopment Commission. Councilman Carr made a motion that the communication be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Erler seconded the motion. Motion carried.. COMMUNICATION The following 4ommu_ini cat ion was read by the Clerk: To: THE SOUTH BEND CITY COUNCIL Attention,, Stanley Korpal James E. Keating and Guy H. McMichael, as attorneys of record for American Shopping Centers, Inc., do here - with withdraw the petition of said American Shopping Centers, Inc. heretofore submitted to the South Bend City C ouncil in which said petitioner requested the rezoning of a certain tract of land which is described in the said petition and is located on East Jefferson Boulevard, in the City of South Bend, Indiana, and consists of approximately thirty -five (35) acres. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE: To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 Commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of South Bend, Indiana (Lots 247 to 254 in Broadmoor, Third. Section), Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion it should be reported unfavorable. G. W.
