SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 27th, 1956 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, June 27th, 1956, at 7:30 P.M., (C.S.T., 8:30 P.M., C.D.S.T.), with all members present. STATE OF INDIANA ) . ) SS: CITY OF SOUTH BEND j CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING To the President, and members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Gentlemen: You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of South Bend, In the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., C.D.S.T., (7:00 P.M., C.S.T.) on Wednesday, June 27, 1956, for the purpose of considering the following matters, to -wit: COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE #1. An Ordinance transferring and appropriating from Office of City Clerk C -36 Office Supplies $200.00 to C -725 Office Equipment (typewriter) $200.00 From Fire Department Q -11 Services Personal $10000.00 to Fire Department Q -724 Motor Equipment $5,300.00 to Q -726 Other Equipment $2,000.00 to Q -331 Gasoline, $2,000.00 all of the Budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana for 1956 and declaring an extraordinary emergency. #2.'-An Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana appropriating the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) to be applied to the cost of construction, reconstruction and improvement of Streets, and expenses incurred in connection therewith.
