SPECIAL MEETING <br />JUNE 27th, 1956 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Council <br />Chambers on Wednesday, June 27th, 1956, at 7:30 P.M., (C.S.T., 8:30 P.M., C.D.S.T.), with all members present. <br />STATE OF INDIANA ) <br />. ) SS: <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND j <br />CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING <br />To the President, and members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />Gentlemen: <br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of <br />South Bend, In the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet <br />in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., C.D.S.T., (7:00 P.M., C.S.T.) on Wednesday, <br />June 27, 1956, for the purpose of considering the following matters, to -wit: <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />#1. An Ordinance transferring and appropriating from Office of City Clerk C -36 Office Supplies <br />$200.00 to C -725 Office Equipment (typewriter) $200.00 From Fire Department Q -11 Services <br />Personal $10000.00 to Fire Department Q -724 Motor Equipment $5,300.00 to Q -726 Other <br />Equipment $2,000.00 to Q -331 Gasoline, $2,000.00 all of the Budget for the Civil City of <br />South Bend, Indiana for 1956 and declaring an extraordinary emergency. <br />#2.'-An Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana appropriating the sum of One Million <br />Dollars ($1,000,000.00) to be applied to the cost of construction, reconstruction and <br />improvement of Streets, and expenses incurred in connection therewith. <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />-- #3.
