Ordinances, First and Second Reading <br />An Ordinance approving a contract between the South Bend Water Works and International <br />Harvester for one (1) 2Z ton truck. <br />The Chief of Police or a member of the Polic Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice on <br />each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said special meeting. <br />(signed) EDWARD F. Bussert #252 <br />Member of the South Bend Police Department <br />The Special Call was read,by the City Clerk and ordered placed on file. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES: <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected <br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. KORPAL <br />Meeting of June 13th, 1956. <br />Councilman Kroll made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file, which motion was seconded by Council- <br />man Muszynski. Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATION: <br />A communication from National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was read-by the Clerk. <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that the Communication be accepted and placed on file. Motion seconded by Councilman <br />Hahn. Motion carried. <br />PETITIONS: <br />Petition from C. W. Marosz, et al, to rezone Lot 4 in Rupel's Second Addition and Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Moon's <br />First Addition from "B" Residential t6 "C" Commercial. <br />Motion by Councilman Hahn, seconded by Councilman Carr, that the petition be referred to the City Planning Com- <br />mission. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE':' <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole, to whom was referred <br />An Ordinance transferring and appropriating•from Office of City Clerk <br />C -36. Office Supplies, $200.00, to Office of City Clerk, C -725, Office <br />Equipment, (Typewriter $200.00); from Fire Department, Q -11 SERvice -Per- <br />sonal, $10,300.00: To Fire Department, Q -724, Motor Equipment, $5300.00 <br />(Two Passenger cars and one truck); To Fire Department Q -726, Other <br />Equipment, $3,000.00 (Fire Hose); To Fire Department, Q -331, Gasoline <br />$2000.00, all of the budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana <br />for 1956, and declaring an extraordinary emergency., <br />respectfully seport that they have exzmked the matter that that in their opinion it should be reported favorable. <br />GEORGE W.
