--------------._.-___---..___---.__-_--_-------------------- --- ---- - - - - -- v REGULAR MEETING MARCH 26th, 1956 The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Council Chamber on the 26th day of March, 1956, at the hour of 8:27 P.M., C. D. S. T. (7:27 P.M., C.S.T.), in regular session in accordance with the rules of the Council. The Meeting was called to order by President Stanley C. Korpal, who presided. Present: Councilmen Korpal, Carr, Tellson, Christman, Kroll, Erler and Muszynski. Absent: Councilmen Hahn and Glass. REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES: To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the-previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They, therefore, recommend that the same be approved. STANLEY C. KORPAL ) GEORGE C. CARR ) CHAIRMAN JULIUS B. CHRISTMAN, JR. ) Councilman Kroll made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.' Motion carried. PETITION: The Honorable The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana March 21, 1956 Copy to Mr. Robert L. Huff, City Planning Association Gentlemen: ' It is hereby submitted that whereas property located on the North side of LaMonte Terrace known as Lots 2 to 10 inclusive of Chapin Place Addition between Forrest and Park Avenues are zoned "B" Residential and the,Sotith half of lot 1 of said Chapin Park Addition which is also on the North side of LaMonte Terrace is zoned "A" Resi- dential that consideration should be given to rezoning the South half of lot 1 from "A" to "B" Residential. This home i2' admirably located and adaptable for use as a day nursery for pre - school age children for which purpose it is now desired to use this property.
