REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 10TH, 1955 <br />RESOLUTION (Saint Mary's College Centennial Week) <br />Councilman Korpal moved for the adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Councilman Niezg8dski). <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Irving J. Smith read a communication-from the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County for the endorse- <br />ment of a joint city- county building program. <br />Cduncilman Muszynski moved that the communication from theBoard of Commissioners be accepted and placed on <br />file. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />City Attorney Irving Hurwich explained the law whereby this community could set up an Urban Redevelopment_ <br />Commission to select a site for a civic center. <br />Mr. Korpal, Chairman of truck weight and noise problem, announced the committee will meet Monday night, October. <br />17th at 7 :30 P.M. in theCouncil Chamber and that persons interested would be invited to the meeting. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn, which motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Korpal. Motion carried, and Council adjourned at 9 :50 P.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />CLER <br />APPROVE <br />PRESIDENT <br />
