REGULAR MEETING <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />NOVEMBER 22ND, 1954 <br />The attached Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702, which will prohibit.the parking or storage of certain <br />commercial vehicles in residential areas, was given public hearing before the Planning Commission under date <br />of October 215 1954• <br />The Ordinance, as amended, is recommended for adoption. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Robert L. Huff <br />Director- Secretary <br />Councilman. Korpal made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />(Garage- private) <br />The .ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion <br />that the ordinance be set for public hearing on December 13th. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4018 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1949, <br />CHANGING THE TIME OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL. IN <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full.. Councilman. Muszynski made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. CLINIC X -262 SOUTH BEND <br />MEDICAL LABORATORY $96.86; AND FROM OFFICE OF THE BOARD H -11 <br />SERVICES PERSONAL $422.25 to OFFICE OF CITY CLERK C -725 OFFICE <br />EQUIPMENT $422.25, Ate, FROM THE GENERAL FUND; AND FROM STREET <br />DEPARTI+2EN2' 5 -263 RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT $1100,00 TO STREET DEPART- <br />MENT 5 -214 TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH $100.00, AND TO S -38 GENERAL <br />SUPPLIES $500.00, AND TO S -321 COAL AND FUEL OIL $500.00, ALL <br />FROM THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND; ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE <br />YEAR 1954 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND DECLARING <br />AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE No. 4020 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA. <br />(Southeast corner of Olive and Longley Streets) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and lost by a roll call vote of 6 ayes ( Councilmen Korpal, Pinter, Bestle,' <br />Niezgodski, Hahn and Muszynski) - 2 nays (Councilmen Erler and Glass). <br />Councilman Glass made a motion to reconsider the vote. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />by a roll call vote of 8 "ayes - 0 nays. - <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />
