fS3fiitfiftftfititittiiiiftttittiiiftttififiititifttfititittfiil itittitiiii33ft3ii ifiiiititittittiiitti3tiifiifi <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 25TH, 1954 <br />The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Council Chamber on the 25th day of October, 1954, <br />at the hour of 8:15 P.M., in regular session in accordance with the rules of the Council. <br />The meeting was called to order by President, Walter C. Erler Sr., who presided. <br />The members of the Council were s #own to be present or absent as follows: <br />Present: -Councilmen Walter C. Erler Sr., Stanley Korpal, <br />C1oyd Bestle, Clem Niezgodski, Walter Glass, <br />William Hahn and Chester Muszynski. <br />Absent: Councilman Michael Pinter. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: ' <br />Your Committee on the inspedtion and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected <br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same <br />be approved. <br />WALTER C. ERLER SR. ) <br />STANLEY C. KORPAL ) Committee <br />Meeting of October 11th, 1954. W. A. HAHN ) <br />Councilman Glass moved that the report be accepted. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />PETITION <br />Petition of Christian Gospel Assembly by by Earl Broadwell, Trustee, and Pauline L. Broadwell to rezone Lots No. <br />112, 113, 114 and F as shown on the recorded Plat of the Second Addition to River Dale in River Park from "A" <br />residence use district and "A" height and area district to "B" residence use district and "B" height and area <br />district. <br />Councilman Hahn moved that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Cou cilman Korpal seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE. <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />4 <br />Your Committee of _.the Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance transferring and appropriating from S -261 Street <br />and Traffic Fund N'- epiace Railing- Lincolnway East) $8,000.00 to S -12 Services Personal $4,000.00 and to S -43 <br />Materials (Street and Alley) $4,000.00 and from T -726 Traffic Department (Other Equipment) $1,000.00 to T -43 <br />Materials General $1,000.00, and from General Fund B -11 Services Personal (salary of Second Traffic Clerk) $174.00 <br />to B -11 Services Personal (Salary of First Traffic Clerk) $174.00, all of the budget for the year 1954 of the Civil <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, and declaring an emergency." <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be reported to the <br />Council as favorable. <br />W. A. HAHN, Chairman <br />Councilman Glass moved that the report be accepted. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />
