REGULAR MEET ING COMMUNICATION South Bend City Council City Hall South Bend, Indiana Attention: Clerk's Office 'Dear Sir t SEPTEMBER 27TH, 1954 The South Bend - Mishawaka Board of Realtors passed the following resolution at their regular weekly meeting: "On behalf of the home - owners and taxpayers of this area we wish to thank you for the splendid job you have done and are doing in providing this community with good government. You are to be doubly commended for your efforts in keeping govemment costs at a minimum." Yours t m ly, W. C. Motion carried. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Your Committee of the 'Whole to whom was referred "An Amended Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana." (Side Yard). Respectfully rep, rt that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be held up for further study. W. A. HAHN, Chairman Councilman Korpal moved that the report be accepted.. Councilman - Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An Amended Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sout# Bend, Indiana•" ( Garage- private). Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance be referred to the City Plan Commission for public hearing. W. A. HAHN, Chairman Councilman Niezgodski moved that the report be accepted. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common =Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance transferring and appropriating from Engineering Department L -331 Gasoline $100900 to Engineering Department L -214 Telephone and Telegraph $100.00; from Offi ce of Controller B -242 Printing $500.00 to Office of Controller B -241 Advertising and Publication of Notices $500.00; from City Plan Commission 726 Other Equipment $110.00 to City Plan Commission 55 Subscriptions and Dues $110.00; from City Plan Commission 725 Office Equipment $100.00 to City Plan Commission 242 Printing $100,00; from Sanitation XK -51 Insurance and Premiums $1,000.00; from Sewer J -58 Contingencies $1,000900; and from Office of Board of Public Works H -11 Salary of Surgeon $450.00 to Office of Board H -251 Repairs of Buildings and Structures $400.00; to Office of Board H -221B Electric Current•- Buildings $1300.00 and to Office of Board H -214 Telephone and Telegraph $750.00; all of the budget for 1954 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring an emergency." Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. W. A.
