SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 30TH, 1954 The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the 'Council Chamber on the 30th day of August, 1954, at the hour of 10:17 P.M. in special session in accordance with the rules of the Council. The meeting was called to order by the President, Walter C.:Erler Sr., who presided. The members of the Council were shown to be present or absent as follows: Present: Councilmen Walter C. Erler Sr., Stanley Korpal, Michael Pinter, Cloyd Bestle, Clem Niezgodski, Walter, Glass, William A. Hahn and Chester Mus zynski. Absent: None STATE OF INDIANA ) SS: CITY ,OF SOUTH BEND ) CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING To the President, and Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Gentlemen: You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common `Council of said City, is hereby called to meet in the Council Chamber, iw the City Hall at the hour of 7t00 P.M. Central Standard Time (8 :00 P.M. C. "D.T.), on Monday, August 30th, 1954, for the purpose of oDnsidering the following ordinances, to -wits AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF ALL BUDGET- OPERATED DEPARTMENTS OF TEE '^CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH- BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR nGINNING7. JANUAE "' 95 ,� 13:;F�NDING DECEI�BER'3I IR55, INCLUDING DEPARTMENTS, FUNDS AND COMMISSIONS FOR WHICH MONEY IS APPROPRIATED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FROM FUNDS OTHER THAN _ THIS GENERAL FUND, OF SAID CITY,, TO -WITt STREET, TRAFFIC AND PARR `DEPARTMENTS, FIREMEN.IS PENSION AND POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUNDS, AND THE CITY PLAN COMMISSIOkt PROVIDING THAT SUCH APPROPRIA11ONS SHALL INCLUDE ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS: FIXING THE SALARIES OF ALL CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITHs PROVIDING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL `TAKE EFFECT.
