MEETING <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />MAY 10TH, 1954 <br />Petition of Kreamo Bakers, Inc. to change zoning of Lots 1, 2, and 3 and vacated alley in rear, from C Commercial <br />to D Light Industrial, F height and area districts, and Lot 17, all in Elias Rupelts Addition, to F height and <br />area was given legal notice under date of April 26, 1954, and public hearing before your City Planning <br />Commission under date of May 6, 19549 These lots are located southwest corner Brookfield Street and Lincoln <br />Tay West. <br />This petition is recommended favorably. <br />Very truly yours, <br />Robert L. Huff, Secretary <br />Councilman Hahn made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. <br />(Southwest corner of Brookfield Street and Lincoln Way West) <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Couneilmm Niezgodski made a <br />motion that the ordinance be held up until May 24th. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 <br />absent (Councilmen Alford and Pinter). <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Alford <br />and Pinter)* <br />ORDINANCE N0, 3976 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM VARIOUS <br />TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCES TO TRAVEL EXPENSES <br />OF THE BUDGET OF 1954. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilman Alford <br />and Pinter). <br />ORDINANCE N09 3977 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FIXED MILEAGE RATE FOR <br />REIMBURSEMENT FOR CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN <br />THE USE OF PRIVATE CONVEYANCES FOR CITY BUSINESS. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Alford <br />and Pinter). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3979 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM C -11 SERVICES - PERSONAL <br />(CITY -CLERK) $238.64 to A -11 SERVICES�iPERSONAL (OFFICE OF <br />MAYOR) AND ESTABLISHING SALARY OF DEPUTY CITY CLERKS AT <br />$3600.00 EACH: ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR 1954 OF THE CIVIL CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INM ANA AND DECLARING IT AN EMERGENCY. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilman Alford <br />and Pinter). <br />
