G1AL ET INC;: FEBRUARr 24TH9 1954 <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the 'Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance fixing the schedule of rates and charges to be <br />collected by the City of South Bend from the owners of property served by the Sewage Disposal Works of said City, <br />and other matters connected therewith ". <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council <br />as favorable. <br />W. A. HAHN, Chairman <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Notion <br />carried. <br />Reported by President Erler that Notice of Public Hearing on this ordinance was duly published in the South Bend <br />Tribune on Frebruary 11th and 18th, 1954. Proof of publication was placed on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />Time and place of public hearing, February 24th, 1954, at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambero, <br />President Erler stated that Mr. Skeleton, Mr. Monahan and Mayor Scott were in attendance at the meting to answer <br />any questions that might arise about this proposed ordinance. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3964 <br />f AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SCHEDULE OF RATES AND <br />CHARGES TO BE COLLECTED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND FROM THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY SERVED BY THE <br />SEWAGE DISPOSAL WORKS OF SAID CITY, AND OTHER <br />MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes (Councilmen Erler, Alford, Korpal, <br />Pinter, Bestle, Niezgodski, Glass, Hahn and Muszynski) - 0 nays. <br />1. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to adjourn the Special <br />Meeting, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bestle.
