SPECIAL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 24TH, 1954 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the <br />Council Chamber, on Wednesday, February 24th, 1954, at 8:03 P.M. <br />STATE OF INDIANA ) SS: <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY ) <br />CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING <br />To the President, and members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana.: <br />Gentlemenr <br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of <br />South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to <br />meet in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., on Wednesday, February 24th, 1954, for <br />the purpose of considering the following ordinance, to -witr <br />"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SCHEDULE OF RATES AND CHARGES <br />TO BE COLLECTED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FROM THE <br />O1MERS OF PROPERTY SERVED BY THE SEVIAGE DISPOM WORKS <br />OF SAID CITY, AND OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH". <br />The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this <br />notice on each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting. <br />Dated this 20th day of February, 1954. <br />JOHN A. Pinter 736 W. Indiana Ave. <br />Walter C. Erler Sr. <br />Mrs. Molly Isza for Percy Alford <br />Stanley C. Korpal IN <br />and by leaving a certified copy thereof at the last and usual place of residence of such members as I was unable <br />to find, as follows: <br />Mr. Who Hahn 128 N. Eddy, Apt. 3 -A <br />Mrs. Cloyd Bestle <br />Mr..C. Muszynski 2210 Western Ave. <br />Mr. Walter G. Glass 714 - 23rd Bt. <br />Sgt. M. Zarembka <br />Member of the bouth Bend Police Department <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the call be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Bestle seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />
