Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in regular session in the Council Chamber, <br />Monday, January 11th, 1954, at 8:03 P.M., with all members present. President Erler presided. <br />REPORT OF COMI+dITTEE ON MINUTES <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have <br />inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend <br />that the same be approved. <br />Meeting od December 14th, 1953, <br />WALTER C. ERLER SR. ) <br />STANLEY C. KORPAL - ) Committee <br />fit. A. HAHN ) <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Council -man Hahn <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />'REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To: Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />Gentlemen: <br />Petition of Albin J. and Josephine T. Jez for change of zoning district of Lots 95 and 96 in Kaley's First Sub - <br />division from C use and D height and area district to A or B use and A or B height and area district. These lots. <br />are located at the northwest intersection of Fremont and Kenwood Streets. The immediate neighborhood of property <br />'involved now exists.is predominantly -residential use. <br />The change is recommended from C _use and D height and area district to B us.e and B height and area district. <br />Very truly yours, <br />Robert L. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3954 <br />THIS ORDINANCE IS AMENDATORY OF ORDINANCE NO. <br />2331, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 3702, COMMONLY <br />KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. <br />(Northwest intersection of Fremont & Kenwood Sts.) <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of <br />9 ayes - 0 nays. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes - 0 nays. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To: Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />Gent lemen: <br />Petition of Peter Wrobel for change of zoning of Lot 181 in Realty Construction Company's Second Addition from <br />'C Commercial and D height and area district to B residential and A height and area district. This property is <br />'located one lot north of lot at the northeast intersection of Dunham and Olive Streets.
