Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in regular session in the Council Chamber, Monday, January 11th, 1954, at 8:03 P.M., with all members present. President Erler presided. REPORT OF COMI+dITTEE ON MINUTES Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. HAHN ) Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. 'REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To: Common Council City of South Bend Gentlemen: Petition of Albin J. and Josephine T. Jez for change of zoning district of Lots 95 and 96 in Kaley's First Sub - division from C use and D height and area district to A or B use and A or B height and area district. These lots. are located at the northwest intersection of Fremont and Kenwood Streets. The immediate neighborhood of property 'involved now exists.is predominantly -residential use. The change is recommended from C _use and D height and area district to B us.e and B height and area district. Very truly yours, Robert L. ORDINANCE NO. 3954 THIS ORDINANCE IS AMENDATORY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2331, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. (Northwest intersection of Fremont & Kenwood Sts.) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 9 ayes - 0 nays. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes - 0 nays. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To: Common Council City of South Bend Gent lemen: Petition of Peter Wrobel for change of zoning of Lot 181 in Realty Construction Company's Second Addition from 'C Commercial and D height and area district to B residential and A height and area district. This property is 'located one lot north of lot at the northeast intersection of Dunham and Olive Streets. The surrounding neighbor - hood is predominantly in single family residential use.
