Dik - S1 it the undersigned property owner, petition your Honorable Body for a change in zoning of the following described real estate located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, to-wit: Lot No. 180, Realty Construction Co. Socond Addition (East side of 700 Block South Olive Street) be changed from "C" Commercial and "D" Height and Area-District to "B" Residential and "A" Height and Area District. Dated this 26th day of September, -1953. (Signed) Peter Wrobel Petitioner Councilman Korpal made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT -OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common. Council. of the City of South Bends Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly knovn as the Zoning Ordinance ". REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To .the Common Council of the City of South Bends Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance transferring funds from P -11 Police Salary 1800.00 to P -724 Motor Equipment .1800.00 ;•from S -11 Street Department Salary $2200.00 to S -12 Hourly Workers $2200.00; fr J -12 Sewer Department Salary #6000.00 to J -13 Sewer Department Overtime $2000900 and to S -13 Street Department Overtime 14000.00f from J- 724'Sewer Department Motor Equipment $2300.00 to S -214 Street Department Telephone $300 *00 and S -321 Street Department Coal and Fuel Oil, $2000.00; all of the budget for 1953 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana% Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. REPORT OF COMMITTEE - FUEMM INSPECTION ORDINANCE The Committee met with a Committee of Heating Engineers on the study of the Furnace Ordinance and report that the Ordinance be accepted as amended and a public hearing be held. CHESTER MUSZYNSKI mbers of Committee Councilman Korpal made a motion that the report of the Committee be accepted and the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for public hearing on October 26th. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION The Plan Commission to whom was referred the petition above referred to, respectfully reports that after due publication of notice it conducted a public hearing thereon at 7 :30 o'clock P.M., September 3, 1953, and that no one at said hearing objected to the granting of said petition. Having carefully considered the matter, the Plan Commission, with the acquiescense of the petitioners, recommends the adoption of the proposed ordinance if it be 94iondec to read -substantially in conformity with attached copy.
